SPEAKER NOTES Show up by 1400 (2pm), leave 15 minutes to park. Generally start around 1415 or so. There is a VGA input (and POSSIBLY DVI but sometimes I can't find it), to the projector in the main area near the front of the room/floor. To lower the screen, there's an up and down arrow on the left post of the endcap of one of the hack shelves (member shelves) with the A/V stuff. To turn on the projector (mounted from ceiling), I usually use the buttons on the unit itself. Same with input select. There is probably a computer there, but I've never figured out how to use it, so... caveat emptor. I sometimes don't make it - life intervenes - but in any case, the people at Noisebridge are very helpful. See here on giving talks: https://noisebridge.net/wiki/Hosting_an_Event I also recommend, a few times, walking around the area telling people about your talk, since some people show up and don't know where the talk is going on (or if it is). Also, you can pull in a few more listeners.
